A Guided Meditation to Alleviate Projection and Insecurity

From a spiritual perspective, when our energy leaks due to projection and insecurity, we weaken our ability to transmute our weaknesses & strengthen ourselves. We become vulnerable to the very emotions we seek to get away from - jealousy, evil eye, and absorbing unwanted energy from our surroundings. By self-soothing and turning our energy inwards we strengthen ourselves & our ability to heal. In this 8-minute meditation, I’ll share my experiences and help you strengthen yourself.

So often, our pitfalls in life are the result of not the having the tools to adequately manage our emotions. Or, deal with the energy which comes to us as a result of others being unable to the same thing.
Many of the problems I used to encounter were related to leaking my energy towards other people like thinking about the many ways a stressful situation could unfold around me. I would dwell on my circumstances, instead of realizing I was wasting valuable energy I could harness and use to work on myself.
From a spiritual perspective when our energy leaks, it leads to more emotional dysregulation because it weakens our aura and ability to protect ourselves from the unseen. We become vulnerable to jealousy, evil eye, and absorbing the energy from our surroundings.
So today, I'll be teaching you how to transmute your energy and cultivate this valuable resource for healing.
We're going to start in a seated position with our eyes closed. Take a deep breath in, and visualize yourself contained within an egg of white light. Exhale as you tune into your body.
In this egg, you are completely shielded. You can choose to let the egg be a material of your choice like the characteristics of a crystal. For this visualization, I'll be using rose quartz, which allows us to improve self-love. But you can think of this egg surrounding you being made of any material you please.
We set the intention that none of our energy can leak from this shell, and only negativity may be released. All energy we seek to transmute will be retained instead of projected due to our shadow tendencies. All negativity will repel against the egg's surface, never allowed to return to our emotional, physical, or auric bodies.
On your next inhale breath, envision the light around the egg beginning to enter your body. Exhale as you use this light to scan your chakras. Do you feel a sense of heaviness in any of these areas? If you're feeling hurt, maybe you notice heaviness in your heart. Take a deep breath in, and exhale the weight of those feelings, envisioning them leaving the egg.
Next, we'll take a deep breath in and notice which areas of our body seem to feel dull as this white light purifies the space within. Again exhale the weight of the heaviness from these things. Notice if the area around your sacral chakra below your navel seems to feel dull. Maybe you've been struggling with your feelings.
Take another deep breath - scan your body one more time, looking for any areas of dullness which provide you an opportunity for release. Exhale as you release the weight of emotions stored in these parts of your body.
Inhale and now envision all the areas which once felt dull begin to illuminate. Exhale as you envision your body as a crystalline structure - sparkling, and becoming infused with the qualities of the materials of your egg.
Inhale allowing this current of light to expand flowing out from our your heart to your fingertips and down your legs to your toes. Exhale as you feel the warmth of this light, giving you safety.
Inhale and continue to visualize this current flowing. Exhale and feel the warmth of this light flowing from your heart center outwards towards every part of your body.
On your next inhale breath bring to mind any problems you're currently having relating to insecurity. Exhale and just observe this thought. Notice if any part of your body seems to dull as this thought is brought to mind.
Inhale and envision white light replenishing any areas of your body which have become dulled. Exhale as you release stress, tension, jealousy, or negativity away from your body and out of the egg.
Inhale and envision white light washing these spaces once more. Exhale as you release your breath and any residual negativity.
Now breathe normally as you envision floating within this white light, cradled by the universe, allowed to think of any insecurities, flaws or faults, without judgement. No matter what the circumstance is, bring your attention back to you.
In your mind, what is the root cause of how you are feeling? Is a lack of self worth? Do you feel insecure? Keep your focus on the breath - take a deep inhale if you noticed you stopped breathing when these thoughts came to mind and exhale the judgement you have towards yourself. You are safe to feel these emotions within this egg.
Again, take an inhale breath and bring to mind whatever is bothering you. As you exhale, challenge yourself to face the root cause of these emotions. Is there need to compete to feel worthy? Is there a need to create safety through comparison?
Take another deep inhale breath, and as you exhale release those feelings.
Bring your attention back to the energy centers which may have become dulled by revisiting these thoughts. Take a deep inhale breath and fill them again with white light. Exhale as you release comparison or envy of others and envision it bouncing off the inner shells of the egg, as a white light beaming back into your heartspace.
Allow these feelings you've visited in this meditation to channel your energy back into yourself. Continue through this cycle, breathing in, filling yourself with white light, and exhaling allowing your shadow thoughts to bounce of the inner shell of the egg and be purified as it beams back into your heart space.
Take a few more breaths cycling the energy back into yourself and use this meditation anytime you find yourself challenging insecurity, low self worth, projection, or jealousy.
